We Are Now Meeting At Woodland Lakes!

This past Sunday, November 16, 2008, was our last Sunday at the Campbell Country Barn. Services for November 23 and 30 will be held at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp, just 1.5mi down 125. Our service times will remain the same. Wednesday evening services will be held at 410 Chapel Road, Amelia, Ohio 45102 at the normally scheduled time. If you need directions to either place, check out the About Us section of our webpage or contact the pastor. Just two more weeks until we are hopefully in the new building!!

Ground Breaking Ceremony

There were 28 in attendance on the ground breaking ceremony for Monuments Baptist Church on Sunday, April 6th at 2 PM. Brent Daniels lead the church in prayer. Eric Breitfeld talked about the history of Monuments Baptist Church and why the church was named Monuments. Alma Breitfeld played the guitar and the congregation sang "We Are Standing on Holy Ground". Joyce Richardson, Monroe Township Trustee, welcomed the church to the neighborhood. Brother David Coppedge, our Southernhills Associational Missionary, provided the message. The ceremonial dig consisted of the Builder, Don Anderson, the church trustees, Brent Daniels, Eric Breitfeld, Pastor Mark Pence, Missionary David Coppedge, and Monroe Township Trustee, Joyce Richardson. Our Pastor, Mark Pence lead the congregation in a responsive reading. The church celebrated afterwards with a dessert social.

Singspiration

Our 3rd Singspiration will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2008! We will hold Sunday School and Church Service as normal. Following Church Service we will have a time of fellowship eating lunch at the church. After lunch, we will enjoy singing from many talented people. Remember: you don't have to be a member to participate in the Singspiration. Just contact Alma Lynn Breitfeld and let her know what you would like to do during the Singspiration. You can sing, recite a poem, do a skit, or anything else church appropriate. Join us for our Singspiration!

Our 1 Year Anniversary!

Sunday, January 13, 2008: Monuments Baptist Church celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We are proud of all we accomplished in the first year and are looking forward to what is to come.
